Climate Challenge Initiative

Our Climate Challenge Initiative is an innovative project aiming to engage with mainly but not only, Ethnic Minority individuals living in West Dunbartonshire and the surrounding area to reduce carbon emissions.

We raise awareness on climate changes through formal workshops and at various community events and provide opportunity to community members to take part in activities to tackle environmental issues. We achieve this by:

  • Providing energy efficiency advice
  • Providing low-carbon travel advice
  • Facilitating creative family activities to save clothes and textiles from going to landfill

The project is funded by Climate Challenge Fund, Keep Scotland Beautiful and the Scottish Government.
